Saw this on Reddit:
It's ok, I'm not English so I don't have to tiptoe around every mention of someone foreign.
Hes got no money so thats a looooofty target.Aston Villa's new owner has set the target of winning the CL within 10 years.
This has got Blackburn Mk II written all over it.
How did he pass the Wellness Policy or whatever it's called if he's got no money?
How exactly did Abaramovich pass the 'fit and proper persons' test. or did they simply not bother to do a test for him?The rules can be found here:

I've had a quick scan and it seems that having money (or not) isn't really an issue, as far as the fit and proper persons' test goes.

I was doing some filming at Villa Park the other day. First time I've ever been there. Absolutely cracking traditional stadium, the old style brick main stand is really cool. We were doing a crossbar challenge and keepy uppy challenge on the pitch with some tennis players etc. All the staff were very accommodating and lovely. Kind of pointless story, but being there, and interacting with staff members made me feel really bad about whats happened there. A big turnaround from absolutely hating Villa under O'Neill.
Step 1. Sell Villa.Aston Villa's new owner has set the target of winning the CL within 10 years.

Step 1. Sell Villa.
Step 2. Buy Real Madrid or Barca.
I jokingly asked the wife who they had in the first round yesterday. Didn't realise I was right
