Too many players not performing, Son poor, hoijberg hiding and pointing as usual, Romero poor, Davies and lenglet not much better.
Mason cannot improve this lot and his lack of experience would worry me if investing substantial money into the squad

No hope if you don't have a midfield that can control a game , otherwise you're relying on defenders defending properly for 90mins. Our centre midfield is shocking. Imo even Bentancur (who is the best of our lot) is not good enough for a top 4 centre midfield.
