Isn't it weird how lucas works centrally. Out wide he gets shepherded towards the touch line and just goes down blind alleys.
Him running at pace through the middle shits everyone up and then he has options all around him to make a relatively simple pass.
Have we discovered something?
I feel like his first touch has been consistently much better recently could be as simple as that.

That's the thing about Rodon and Tanganga, they might make the odd positional mistake etc but they're full of commitment and grafters and that's exactly what we need at the moment.
I think if Jose had regularly picked these two and let it be known he's building for the future then things might be more positive.

No one to play the ball to so he had to try to beat the man. Unlucky there. Has played well since coming on

yep, won a 50-50 challenge, broke away, ran the length of the field and was then stopped by very good defending.

Could Gary Neville blow a trumpet up Villa arse anymore... C#ck! Nevermind saying about how well spurs played and the brilliant fighting spirit tonight. Well done lads COYS?

* deserved 3 points away from home
* clean sheet
* 3 points off the 4th place, 1 point off number 5
* some very good and lively performances by the likes of Lucas and Tanganga (!, should start v Newcastle as well)

Decent night of football after a terrible week. COYS.

Not perfect but a lot better and both Jose and us fans got some very good responses from the players today.

Moura has been outstanding, so good it makes you wonder why we've never tried him in the middle before this last month.

Lovely, just what we needed after midweek. Now tell me the players aren’t playing for Jose.

Not allowed near a mic after saying this:
« L’avantage du joueur, je dirais typique africain : il n’est pas cher, généralement prêt au combat, on peut le qualifier de puissant sur un terrain. Mais le foot, ce n’est pas que ça, c’est aussi de la technique, de l’intelligence, de la discipline. »
I doubt that was about sissoko somehow
