Isn't it weird how lucas works centrally. Out wide he gets shepherded towards the touch line and just goes down blind alleys.
Him running at pace through the middle shits everyone up and then he has options all around him to make a relatively simple pass.
Have we discovered something?

I know as a youth player in São Paulo he was regarded as the best central attacking prospect Brazil had produced in years. As a central attacking midfielder he was looked at with all the hype that Neymar had just a couple years earlier.

I think he suffered from poor management at PSG and being behind some excellent players, if he had gone to a smaller club where he played central every week his potential could have been realized.
