If we had a functioning youth system hidden somewhere in the world’s most advanced training village, one would be tempted to call for the hungry young stars of the future. Alas, let’s choose between this or that overpaid, complacent and unchallenged mediocrity.
You say the strong bottomed wriggler because he usually beats 1 or 2 opponents before falling over. I say the strongest and most powerful guy because, although he lacks vision, he often surges past an opponent before attempting a pass almost beyond his technical ability. At least we can all agree never to try the small, timid boy who ‘s nose bleeds if ever he passes half way or the game situation impels him to pass the ball forwards or into space where his frightened teammate could run.

Just play the lads that want to be at the club for more than just to collect their wages and have fun at training.
Don't even bother benching the ones that Hugo was talking about, give their places to the kids.

It won't happen but it's what I want to see.

Cup final on the horizon. Who wants to play? Every game up to the day should be a test of character for each player.

Give Bergwijn a go on the left and I reckon he'll put in a surprising good shift covering Son.

Also it's now possible to have a crack at playing a genuine midfield 3 with Lo Celso back, I honestly think it would make a hell of a difference. It's just a shame we don't have Son fit as playing 4-3-3 is so much more suited to him up front.

Gone with a score draw, really is a sign of the times when I think I’m being optimistic with a score draw to Villa. Sigh

For some reason I have feeling we are going to get a reaction tomorrow from Thursday nights pathetic pitiful shameful and down right embarrassing display and win.. Also helps that Villa are pretty average when Grealish isn’t playing. If we don’t see a positive reaction then surely there can be no way back Jose. Even it means having a caretaker in charge for remaining 10 or so games of the season.

Annnnd here we are again, full of hope while expecting disappointment.

I wish i was more like my fishing buddy, he doesn't really do football, we watch the internationals together sometimes, he thought Loftus-Cheek was an injury.

What does he think about suffering a Matt Doherty? What are the full recovery chances?

It's a good thing Higginbotham doesn't play anymore in that case.

League games just feel so pointless now.

Couldn't give a fuck how many we win/draw/lose between now and the end of the season as long as we finish above West Ham and Arsenal. That's how bad it has become.
