Twitter really is wild for football fans just generally being odd.

A few years back I posted a link about the human rights concerns with Abu Dhabi.

Some guy who claimed to be a City journo who was draped in City gear in his profile sent me a response saying that what I was saying was bollocks and I need to be careful with what I say.

I replied but it ended with him saying he was reporting me to the City hierarchy and I need to be careful.

And then he blocked me.

🤣🤣

I mentioned it on here at the time, I had a bot come at me for similar, you probably had the same.

It is a very strange place full of utter twats. You now can’t interact with fans of other clubs or respond to spurs fans on the main media accounts without being accosted. Any tweets you make using the words arsenal or Liverpool seem to get seemed out too now, so you have to use scousers or gooners or the scum. They don’t seem to get picked up, presumably by foreign fans who are instigating the unwanted interaction.

Liverpool and Arsenal fans seem to be everywhere on that site. I didn't even go looking for it but every day I am having to block random accounts that pop up with some horrendous takes.

Twitter was a cesspit before Musk sacked all the developers and safeguarding teams, I can’t imagine it’s improved or will do anytime soon.

Opposition "fans" have other clubs' post notifications on and go straight in with replying. It's such odd behaviour.

My sons were very good competitive players and are both huge gooner fans. While they think it should not have been a goal due to the push, they think Ateta has been an embarrassment especially as the in/out and onsiside/offside decisions were too close to change the on field decisions.

Both stated they had way more respect for Ange and are afraid young players are much more likely to want to come to Spurs now.

I am enjoying talking football with them much more right now.

Arsemania arteta thread is s fun read. They are all turning on each other and Arteta its glorious.

they all think they'll have big money to spend in Jan when I have read the kroenkes want them to be self sufficient now. I would be very surprised if there is any money in Jan.

Never actually knew how many Arsenal fans dislike Arteta and hate his football.

Interesting.

I wouldn't call having a massive public sulk a "revolt" but to each their own. Anyway, what do they think this is going to achieve? They're certainly not doing it to improve the standard of refereeing, it's nothing more than a thinly veiled threat that they'd better see tight decisions going their way or else... they'll sulk again.

I'd also argue that Arsenal are already revolting.
