I’ll remove the comment, I didn’t realise it was that sensitive for you. I’ve seen the messages from him to her. I’m not hiding either as I’ve just said it. It’s true and that’s that. I think it’s disgusting that commentators and fans alike are letting it go because of a legal technicality. I’ll decide what I think of him thank you.
That 'legal technicality' happens to be the fact he hasn't been found guilty of anything. Hopefully your posts won't land SC in any trouble.

I said from pre season they’d win it or go very close.

That being said them looking like possibly bottling it from a 11pt lead would be the stuff of dreams.

It’s not over and they could still win it BUT I have been thinking their team would go down as possibly the worst ever team/squad to win the PL surely?

Not even just rose tinted glasses, their team just isn’t that good is it, it also shows aside from City just how poor the standard of the league has been this season tbh.
They have obviously started the season very well but they've been helped by an easy run of opening fixtures. In a normal season the head start that run has given them may be enough momentum to do “a Leicester “ . Unfortunately for them there is a 6 week break for the WC and it’s unlikely they will still have that momentum afterwards. Their run of fixtures after the WC are considerably harder than those at the start of the season: WHU(H), Brighton (A), Newcastle(H), THFC(A), MUtd(H) and Everton(A). How they handle the “second” start to the season will determine how their season may pan out.
They also have a tough last quarter to the season. In the last 9 games they play Liverpool(A), WHU(A), Southampton (H), ManC(A),Chelsea((H), Newcastle(A), Brighton(H) then two relatively easy games of Forest(A) and Wolves(H).
There is still a long way to this season.
I wrote the above quote back in October when many on here were wetting the bed about Arsenal doing a Leicester. They did much better after the WC break than I expected but I always felt their run in was going to be too tough for them given their inexperience of handling the nerves of a title chase. Regardless of what happens in the next 3 games I think they will drop points against Forest and Wolves. If they lost their next 5 that would go down as the biggest bottle job.

Oh come on !!! 😂😂😂😳
Your team was s*** as well.

Pundit Paul Merson says he has not seen Man City play like they did in a 4-1 thrashing of Arsenal, believing they 'went to another level' on Wednesday evening.

Went to another level? They literally walked the game like a training session 🤣🤣🤣 Merson is a proper willy isn’t he?

They've been top of the league the entire season, the only side to have been top at all, and having been 11 points clear a couple of times and 8 points clear going into April, its not just that are they going to lose it, it is their exquisite timing that makes it so perfect.
Waiting until May has to be the best bottle job ever. .

Paul Merson says he is a Chelsea fan. He was almost crying when Stones scored the second goal.

Yes, his Arsenal tinted glasses in full view again. If we'd been in that position and lost 4-1 in the way they did and we'd massively handed the title initiative to Man City, Merson would have joyfully and loudly have stated that it was a typical Spurs bottle job performance, Roy Keane would make similar comments in an abrasive way, so would Shearer in a slightly less obvious way, and then we would have had Jack Wiltshire, John Terry, Piers Morgan, Cesc Fabregas and Thierry Henry all piling in with Spurs bottle job jokes and snide comments and banter jokes about Spurs throwing away a title and Spurs related vanter would be in full flow with the Kumb website crashing because there would so many would be itching to add their tuppence halfpenny worth...but because it's Arsenal they won't get a fraction of what we'd get.

That Leicester team was awful....

I think they have a decent 14 or so playqers. They have a very good front 3 - Saka, Martinelli and Trossard have been very good. I wonder whether Jesus will give them the goals they need however as the main striker.

Their midfield is just needing to replace Xhaka. Odegaard has been exceptional this season but Was anonymous yesterday. I think Partey when properly fit is a good defensive midfielder as well.

Defensively they have a few issues. I don't think Zinchenko is as good as people say and they have 2 good centre backs but no capable depth - Holding is not good enough, and I just don't think Ben White is the solution at right back but he gives them solidity defensively.

Ramsdale is capable. I don't think he is England's best and probably isnt in the top 3 goalkeepers in the league but he pisses over Lloris.

I just wanted to add, having been depressed since Sunday I cannot seem to wipe the smile off my face. Ben White trying to bitch slap Haarland after the final whistle is comedy gold.

Anyone see the Arsenal fan on SSN this afternoon ‘debating’ with a City fan? Her name was Sophie, she was getting really irate and bit when he mentioned bottling. All the reasons why Arsenal ‘aren’t’ bottling this season were applicable to Spurs and the Leicester season, ie only team challenging, inexperienced squad when it comes to challenging etc etc. Yet arsenal fans were the first to constantly post images of bottles on social media. They loved it. And they can’t bear that they are now the butt of it. She even mentioned us being legends when losing to Newcastle 6-1 but doesn’t accept that Arsenal are legends for losing the league from their position. Typical gooner. The City fan was arrogant but amusing because he was j laying into Arsenal.

And let’s not forget we never led once let alone for 90% of the season.

If they don’t win the league this year, it will be the biggest bottle job since Keegan’s Newcastle. And that was fucking massive.

Also, one man team? No Saliba, no win.

This was the fan stuff

It’s definitely a bottling.

The current record for the most days leading a PL season without winning is 129, held by Norwich from their 92/23 season. Woolwich have been leading the league for 244 days this season and cannot be displaced until 253 days at the earliest. This would be the biggest bottling of a Prem title ever.

He's such a litter twat. That whole thing at the end was him having a go at Foden for no reason.

It was like the World Cup where he pulled out and everyone assumed something terrible had happened, Arsenal even made him their player of the month in solidarity....and then it turned out he'll was a massive dick who fell out with everyone and they bombed him out the squad hahaha

Maybe Arsenal's form hasn't dropped off, maybe this is true Arsenal and the rest of the season has been the anomaly.
The rest of the league has been shit this season. Just look at how long we stayed in the top 4/ top 6 despite being abject. It’s why City were able to stay in touch at the top despite only really getting into gear in late-February. The poor performance of other teams - including some who would normally be expected to challenge for top 4 at the very least - makes it hard to evaluate this Arsenal team in particular. Have they improved from last season? Undoubtedly. But by how much I think it’s impossible to know. They looked miles away from being possible champions last night.

It's a requisite, that in order to join Arsenal you have to be a massive dick-piece. Ramsdale, Holding, White, Xhaka... Viera, Pires, Henry... thunder****s the lot.

Just putting it out there that this was our record after 33 games in 2016/17:

W 22
D 8
L 3
GS 69
GA 22
Pts 74

Compare that to Arsenal’s record after tonight’s game and the records are very similar. They’ve been very good this season Arsenal, but this late season dip is making their season as a whole much less heroic than some (read as “everyone”) would have you think.
They’ll finish on less points. We got 86 didn’t we? City also won’t get as many as contes chelsea

Southgate was clearly right to chuck him out the England squad and not include him again. The guy needs to fuck off back to the spray tan shop.

This Arsenal team won't ever win the league now.

You don't run a title race close and botttle it the way they have then going on to get hammered by your title rivals.

Klopp's Liverpool always ran City really close and didn't at any stage bottle it, they just couldn't quite surpass them.

They finally did it but only cause they knew that an extra push would do it. They didn't suffer any demoralizing results or form.

How will Arsenal get over this?
How will they deal with a better United? A resurgent Liverpool? A City team who will probably be even better? Dare I say even Spurs won't be as much of a mess.

That was their chance. Their opening and they blew it
Yeah and two seasons running.
I hope saliba leaves in the summer he’ll have a year left.
I’d love city to make a huge offer to Saka in the summer who has a year left too.
