You argue that his 'niche' is monetising the failure of the club he supports. If the equivalent was happening at Spurs, I'd think he was a ****.
They can fail without having to look like dicks. It's just a by-product of their 'failure' that their self-entitled behaviour can be exploited.

Do we have fans like this? They are all just so weird and mental and Robbie talks to them like they are normal people. When Troopz is screaming street talk at him Robbie is nodding away like it's Nelson Mandela making some powerful speech and trying to reason with him. He knows it's a farce!

I do miss that Pirate guy though. What happened to him? Legend!

Admittedly he's probably earning a fair few quid from Ladbrokes, but ad revenue from YouTube is pretty lousy...even with his rumoured 12m views per month.
Be interesting to know how much he actually gets from it.

Wasn't he selling the whole match day experience of a ticket, an arsenal fan tv interview after the game and a book of sudukos to do during the game.

Okay I added the last one.

Fair play to Robbie as an individual for doing what he's doing, he must be making a lot of money for effectively just travelling around the world watching his football team and talking about things afterwards - we pay huge amounts every week to do the same thing. He's got a big following now but he must have spent a lot of time and money going to games and promoting his stuff to get it all going. Fans of a lot of other clubs have tried to put together something similar but his version is the only really successful one.

If I was an Arsenal fan I'd absolutely despise the guy though - he's making their fan base look like a bunch of fucking morons. In Wenger's early years, they were most neutrals' second team and media darlings because they played good football and were the only team that challenged Man Utd who everyone hated - now everyone wants them to lose because they want to see a bunch of nutcases screaming into a camera, and every time that happens whilst most of their fans are despairing, Robbie is raking in the cash and some of these other guys are building their celebrity status. Robbie, DT, Troopz, Claude & Ty are arguably becoming more famous than some of the players which is ridiculous, literally they're just fans like you and me.

I'm glad it's them that have this problem though. I know we have plenty of equally shameful fans in our ranks. Every single time I go to the Lane I hear people say things that make me want to smash my head against a wall. And the self-entitled behaviour of some of that lot on AFTV is pathetic but I've heard the same from a lot of our fans, particularly the older generation, even during the Hoddle/Pleat years when we'd been no better than the Southamptons, Middlesbroughs and Blackburns of this world for the best part of 15 years and were struggling to even get into the top half let alone actually do anything significant, they were still adamant that we were a massive club that deserved to be signing big name players and competing for trophies.

Just remember, this guy became a bit of an internet celebrity briefly. Don't lie to yourself, you've all met a bellend like him that supports Tottenham:

To be fair, when I have to watch football with a goner/spanner/pool fan I turn pretty similar - they make it so hard to watch a match sedately.

Bloody idiots, the lot of them. I thought Old Claude wasn't doing the home games any more, that's what he said after West Brom anyway. Maybe Robbie bunged him a few quid so as not to lose one of his main stars.
He has said that several times now! The bloke would be better off not going full stop, needs to enjoy his life by the looks of it.

I agree with most of that apart from the highlighted part.
If you started supporting spurs in the Sugar years you probably could not understand why some fans expectations were so much higher than avoiding relegation.
But there would have been fans watching with you who saw us win the double, the greaves years, the Chivers years, the Hoddle years and saw us regularly collect trophies and outplay any side on our day. They rightly were not impressed and helped drive Sugar and Graham out the club which I think most realise was a good thing.

This is different to these Arse fans who are driving their best ever manager out when he could still turn this season around.

What’s wrong with Jamie? If over-celebrating the equaliser in the 4-4 draw with Arsenal makes you a bellend then I'm in trouble...
