Arsenal Set To Unveil Secret Weapon Against Chelsea

Arsene Wenger is set to unveil the world’s first football boot with a remote controlled shoot button at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

The £200 boots are fitted with a miniature GPS transmitter- similar to those used in sat nav systems – and are set to end the ‘trying to walk it in’ criticisms so often levelled at Arsenal players.

The GPS system is implanted in what appears to be a normal football boot and will allow Arsene Wenger to send a 1000 volt charge through the footwear whenever his players enter the opposition penalty box.

The American company making the device claim it is the first in the world to aid footballers and are confident that after losing Gervino’s fringe to an early voltage error they now have a ‘safe and effective’ product.
Andrew Ramsey, a professor at George Mason University’s College of Health and Human Services in Washington DC, said the boots will make ‘fannying about’ a thing of the past and will force players like Theo Walcott to ‘take responsibility rather than play blind passes across the front of goal’.

“Early trials with Nicolas Bendtner were awful and we nearly cancelled the project” said Ramsey “but we were assured that this represented a huge improvement and Mr Wenger now wants to use them with all Arsenal players.”

Fans will be be able to judge their success during tomorrow’s live game and will be able to buy a pair from all good sports stores on the lead up to Christmas.
