In short:

My brother's birthday is around the time of the home game against Liverpool. His wife wants to fly them both over to London for a few days, taking in the game at the weekend as a gift. I'm a member & he's a member so ordinarily getting match tickets isn't too much of an issue. She's not a member though.

How much info is checked when our membership cards are scanned at the turnstile? Is it more than likely that they're going to point out she's not Mr......? And in turn will my card be confiscated?

I suppose she could purchase her own membership but that's a fair bit more expense for something she'll never use I suppose. Or she could just buy him his ticket & I'll meet him there. Cheaper for her. Better for him. Better for me. :)

I don't think there'll be any issue. They'll scan the card and let her through. They let through so many people in such a short space of time, they don't have time to nitpick. She should be absolutely fine.

Pack out her pants with a pair of old football socks, just in case the stewards decide to apply "the cup test", and get her to smoke 40 Rothmans the morning of the match, should drop her voice a few octaves

WEIRD was going to post the exact thread just now, Im taking my girlfriend all the way over from aus for some games!

Few questions, Number one has been cleared up but any question is a good question :S

1. Can she use my Dads membership if the ticket is booked under his name?

2. Can I use the online system to book the seats next to each other using two seperate memberships.

3. Is it likely I can get two seats side by side.

4. If I was to use the online system for say CHELSEA home as soon as tickets for lillywhite members were released what is the likelyhood 2 seats are next to each other.

5. Would it be worth upgrading to bronze for the reason that i want two tickets next to each other regulary, or is it ok because im using two memberships?

Thank you people

Your best bet to get seats next to each other would be to book both on one membership, one as the member + 1 guest. I've not used the booking system in a while but understand it's a freekin nightmare to get specific seats.

No, you log on with your membership, choose to find a place in the ground with 2 seats, then assign the 2nd seat to the other member by typing in their membership number and surname.

Not really, they only release about 1,000 tickets for exclusive Bronze member sale so it's even more of a nightmare booking tickets on the Bronze members only day than it is the day after for all members... I'm a Bronze member but I always book tickets when they go on sale to Lilywhite members... The only game I can remember not being able to get two seats next to each other was the 5-1 against Le Arse...

You'll get caught because you'll look terrified. Nah, you'll be fine mate.

It's funny, because Dan (of talkshowhost fame) is a girl and he has a man's season ticket and he's never been caught. But I constantly hear his sandy vagina moaning about Huddlestone. Weird.

My vagina moves in mysterious ways. Deal with it.

My dad used the under 5s membership last year in my sisters name because he had so many problems with his card. Never a problem, even at Madrid Home, they checked the cards before we went through the turnstiles and they didnt mention it.
