I was just thinking that, not about your flight from NZ as an intriguing thought as it is, but the drop! Not had to wait for a drop this long since that time I was constipated after flight to New Zealand.

Yesterday, for me, really highlighted how much we missed Sarr.We have been spoilt by Kane and that’s the ceiling as it’s fresh . Expectations have been raised so quickly due to the attractive football and right now we are lacking bite in that front line but the midfield for me is a lot more concerning there not quick enough in transitions and unless we have a creative 8-10 we struggle need more from that area .
Yesterday, for me, really highlighted how much we missed Sarr.
Bentancur looked rusty, lacking fitness and Hojbjerg blew hot and cold.
Skipp played really well and hopefully starts the next game because he brings the energy we need.
As a unit, when we finally get them all together, the midfield is pretty sorted and so unless PEH goes, I don't think we need another one in there.
Nusa (or similar) has to be the move to make because snapping up talents of his potential before they break through, HAS to be the model we use.
Big money signings are great when it works (I'm looking at you Tanguy!) And they get the fans excited but as we've seen so many times, like United recently, it's a risky way of doing business.
Yeah, certainly no complaints from me.Thing is that if you look at our team yesterday we were missing 3 of our 4 main midfielders and we were also playing without our main attacking outlet of our front 3 and arguably our best player and were having to play our 2nd best player in our front 3 “out of position”.
Yes City were missing both Haaland and KDB but then they have spent over a £Billion and Pep has been in charge for a very long time. We are still very much a work in progress and when we are missing key components to our team we will still struggle.
Totally agree, today the midfield was a bigger issue than the front three.
There are no polar bears in Sweden. Never has been. And here in Sweden we have:
Snow, IKEA and polar bears (all called Billy and have got a screw loose)
…just like Croydon in other words
Might be waiting to see if Brugge can arrange a deal for Sonko after their initial offer was turned down. Also maybe as it’s a loan back there isn’t as much pressure to sort it out with any haste. Ether way there are only 6 days of the window left including today so I would assume we will hear something soonish. All gone a bit quiet hasn’t it

I don't believe they'll be a deal on this...for whatever reason.... bla bla blaCome on for the last ten minutes
Why not? If we're signing him and loaning back until the end of the season, it makes no difference if he plays or notSeems to have fallen off a cliff? Guess it's not happening?
There isn’t any real pressure to get this done fast especially if it’s a loan back. Still a few days left of the window. I’d imagine we are just negotiating the fine print. Brugge have also been trying to sign a young LW which to me is a pretty clear marker that they expect Nusa to leave.Seems to have fallen off a cliff? Guess it's not happening?
there's still a few days to go, but there's been so much ITK on this on talks and talks, so maybe just maybeSeems to have fallen off a cliff? Guess it's not happening?
