Can understand why we are trying to be quite aggressive in our negotiations as I’m sure there will be teams interested who might try to shuffle finances around to make a move plausible . Certainly makes one think that the chances of him coming now are slim to none if they are discreetly trying to get more buyers involved.
I think he’s ours for what it’s worth if that helps.

Can't help feeling a little stressed hence I really want this deal to happen. Feels like 50/50 now?

Well if this feels like a 50/50 what did radu ? Nothings has changed mate apart from the fact there trying to see if they can bring competition to the table to get the most money even if that happens we are in a great place with this and like with radu think we see off competition .

Last thing before I clock off . As someone who’s is fortunate enough to share . I can’t always be the bearer of good news but the truth whether that be good or bad .

Goodnight mates

He’s their best asset in years, not hugely surprising they’re looking for a bidding war.

10 days to go but if he’s spoken to Ange already then I’m confident it’ll be fine. There’s only so much other clubs can do if he wants us and we’re clearly keen to get it done so fingers crossed.

I'm in Surrey and it's wild out there, wind and rain battering. So now this thread has both the Nusa and the weather.

Brugge have secretly been organizing an open house for Nusa, and despite Manchester United's efforts, they're lagging in the race I’ve been told but they’re seeking more competition to get the best deal possible. This negotiation tactic is common, intended to maximize the deal. The seller, using agents to engage with all interested parties discreetly. We've established a strong connection with Antonio's representatives and parents during our interest, confident in our progress. Negotiations with Brugge are not just positive but advancing into more intricate stages now . We are very much the club right now for this deal and for nusa.
One of the lessons from the Dragusin transfers is that players are not just commodities who can be sold to the highest bidders but human beings with agency and the right and ability to choose and shape their futures. So having a siting connection with Antonio and his representatives and (importantly) his family bodes well.

As always, thanks for sharing your information with us.

I have to think that seeing the style of play, and also long-term deals for players like Sarr and Udogie has to be enticing for younger talents like Nusa and Vermeeren. Money is still important, but finding a team to believe in still plays a role.

I don't read it that way - depending on who gets involved.

If it's the club looking for more bidders, that is different than the player looking for other options. The Club is just looking to maximize profits - so they want as many bidders as possible. When it is the player driving the engagement - that tends to mean he is not satisfied with the current offer on the table.

Haha 😂 I’m just trying to feed my info as relevant as I get it . I think that’s a good and a bad thing but the more context I think the more you see how something can go from being off to on to off and then go on again . Also helps processing news from aggregators as they put out what suits their agendas .
Always appreciated. As ever, all any of us can do ultimately is wait and see. We're all just observers, albeit some more informed than others.

I guess from this info tonight we’ll see a barrage of journos tweeting about other clubs getting involved. Let’s hope we’ve laid the groundwork to get it over the line though.

We’ll see but I’m pretty calm. Really hard to see many clubs in Europe willing to pay 30M in January for a guy they can’t have until next summer anyway. Seems we are locked in and ready to pay it.

And then obviously Ange should be the other big factor in our favor. Any player who talks to him and still doesn’t want to join is not meant to be.
