We'll spend that if we haven't already but FFP will force teams to run at 70% of turnover next year.
Chelsea will have to increase Gallagher's wages to get him to sign a new contract so they need to get rid and the fee is a bonus.

Just to further add, he recently started their last league game, he started their game against Gent in the quarter final of the league cup which was just 4 days ago (probably the reason he didn’t start tonight) and he started their last game in the conference league against Brode where he scored an excellent goal. He has had two back injuries this season the last in Nov and as far as I’m aware they wanted to ease him back after his return. They want to keep him because they want to play him as they value him highly.
