Because, contrary to popular belief, we're actually a rather rich club and its not just financial restrictions at Inter, it's the fact that they need to sell something like 80m worth of assets without replacing them.
They truly are skint.

Once the stadium opened, Levy started spending, as was always his plan. Covid scuppered that somewhat but if he needs to, and he does, Levy will find the money. He doesn't really have a choice if he wants to realise his dream of making us one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
