Well if they owe us 20 for Dele and Winks is 20 then 30 for Gordon might be great value for business for us? I get the impression we aren't refreshing HSBC waiting for the dele money to come in.

So glad we got Richarlison sealed before this. If there's any truth they'll be blocking our number. ?

With any other club it wouldn't happen, but Everton is Everton, so you never know. They'll be vandalizing Moshiri's house if it happens.

My boys are both Everton fans. They won't speak to me until Christmas if this happens. Possibly not even then ?

I wonder what triggered the £20m for Dele because he has hardly played.
I think the structure of the deal was very carefully crafted with Everton’s FFP trouble in mind. They couldn’t afford a fee or even a loan with obligation as they would have to report the obligation as a debt on their books, so instead we seem to have structured it as a “free” with lots of performance based triggers, which I expect are accounted for differently as they are not guaranteed expenditures. If they owe us 20m already then clearly we made some of those incentives extremely easy to meet so we would have a guaranteed floor to the transfer value.

I’m doing that thing that I hate again, but… doesn’t that look like the profile of a winger Conte could mold into a wing-back?

As funny as it sounds. I think this may have legs. We need to up our HG numbers. He's young and has alot of potential, presses like a mad man, and could potentially cover multiple positions. I'm all for it for a low fee.

Wouldn’t have been a player I would have been desperate to sign at the start of the window but did like the look of him whenever I watched Everton last season. Always looked to make things happen and not afraid to get stuck in

Gordon would be almost double the price of Spence but the way he scraps and has proven in the prem that he's able to beat his man in a controlled fashion regularly actually makes me want him more than Spence at RWB. Just as with Perisic he could also cover the LW and RW spot in case of injury crisis.
