His knee is not crocked. He literally tore his meniscus which is a very common injury in all sport. The problem was instead of just removing the portion of damaged meniscus, which most professional athletes do, he attempted to have it repaired. The repair of a meniscus is a much longer rehab but is better down the road when you get older and wear and tear. Fati’s issue was the repair didn’t heal right and he kept going back to same surgeon and had a total of three operations to have it repaired. The repair never worked and he ended up just having it removed. Again, a partial meniscus removal is an extremely common knee surgery in athletes. There are NFL players who have it done in season and are playing again in 1-2 weeks. His knee is fine.

A front 3 of Fati, Son, and Johnson would be very exciting.

Shades of that famous Liverpool attack who were so dynamic and fun to watch.

I think my favorite part is that we would also have Richy and Kulu (as well as Perisic) that all have some sort of quality and will be hungry for minutes. It'd be a full group of exciting players battling it out. We may not have the 30 goal player anymore but you'd hope as a unit they could push each other on and all chip in

This was always going to be the way. Don't count out Solomon either.

I can actually see it in possession of being a case of Bissouma behind a four of Fati Maddison Sarr and Johnson with Son up top or variations of.

In any case, eventually resembling more City like.

Just came back here to say that haha. If Fati has an option you would hope your rebuild is complete

Fati - 20
Solomon - 24
Kulu - 22
Johnson - 23

Perisic to leave next summer and time for Richy and Son to step up as well
