Not to throw cold water on any of this - because this ITK is a damn site better than most rumours. However, it says on the West Stand "Diamond Club". Isn't that the elite prawn sandwich club at the Emirates for Arsenal?

You're right. They have a silver, gold, platinum and diamond i think. I have had the (not so) pleasure of a prawn sandwhich there.

However i also think its pretty generic way of labelling up such spaces during the design period.

Its obvious that as we have seen in the space of three weeks, the design is changing. Therefore it would seem appropriate that the design team are at Scheme design stage.

At this stage no client would know what they would choose to call their hospitality areas. Its too soon.

Once scheme design is agreed and costs are signed off, they will most likely go to a stage 1 tender to some big construction companies. Hopefully not Multiplex!

They will have say eight weeks to process costs and submit a closed tender. Then it goes to a final three and interviews etc etc. At this stage the real nitty gritty is ironed out. However, its probably a good twelve months down the line.

It all takes time, and if the rumours are true about the land buy outs and transport etc. we know it wont be soon. I think my earlier 09/10 prediction seems too early actually.

Just my honest (guv) opinion.
