He will have input! Too much details to divulge it will come out eventually. The article says he's not going to be part of the recruitment seem. Seems a bit weird to get a chief scout in and then not use him to be a scout!
Ironically Andy Scoulding got his chance as a scout having worked previously as a video analyst because of Spurs' tendency to play a skeleton team in League Cup matches.
From the Daily Record 1st Nov 2017
“My [Ewan Chester, then Fulham head of recruitment. Scoulding was a video analyst there.] scouting staff was quite defined in terms of who covered which games and we were looking at Spurs over a number of matches before we were due to play them in the league.
“One of those games was a League Cup fixture against Arsenal and we knew they tended to play a skeleton side in that tournament, so it made more sense for one of the senior scouts to watch another opponent that night.
“Andy was so full of enthusiasm and was keen to get involved so I cleared it with Chris Coleman and our managing director, David McNally. Andy went to White Hart Lane and gave me a comprehensive report of the match he had seen."

I know he was an FA video analysist and I think Gnev took him to Valencia with him? He was v highly rated by the FA but from a quick look Rangers fans weren't too happy with him
Not sure why? Aribo, Bassey and Kent among others were down to his endeavours.

Sounds like he’ll be heading up some sort of analytics department. Good news as they are becoming an important part of the game.
I read an article recently where we just had a clean out at the academy. I guess this coincides with his appointment.
Time to rebuild from the ground up.
