I dont think you have grasped the point of our annoyance. Andy Gray is making comments about obvious issues, issues that go without saying, purely to be heard (or read in this case). Comments that are also partly inaccurate. A better, talented and more informed pundit would address issues that were not obvious or rhetoric.

To be fair, I think that article is more contractual obligations than Gray waking up in the morning and thinking 'Ooh, I'll write an article on Spurs and see if Sky want to stick it on their website (ooh, I do hope they do)'

seesm to me he's just trying to add some perspectve to the whole 'ramos revolution' stuff.

at the end of the day we're still losing to the birminghams, villas & Man citys of the league, but we won a cup that Boro won in 2004 & that Wigan, Arsenal reserves & Bolton got to the final of in the last few years, so that makes it OK.

But what you wrote in a paragraph is more insightful than his column in its entirety. He never actually says that, just trips over words that basically say, "Spurs? Naaaah."
