He's a fine keeper and could make it as a starter for a variety of Prem clubs. Best keeper in Scotland for sure, and he would be a great addition if Spurs could land him.

He'd be on a free surely??? The Rangers players who are refusing to transfer their contracts to the 'Newco' become free agents (I think).

Would much prefer to aim higher and go for Lloris if it was possible, McGregor as back up to Lloris would be good though.

This is what describes a boring player to me. As a keeper, it is not as bad, though. Reminds me of a typical boring Liverpool signing. Previously it was Aston Villa who signed players in that category. We have a lot of footballpeople around who cannot sense that this is boring. Sunderland signed Craig Gordon for about £10 mill a few years ago. What do people think....?

Being the best in scotland doesnt mean much, but he had played well for scotland agaisnt teams like France, italy and spain also, so i think just looking at that one bit isnt fair. I do think we should be looking at better keepers, but if we cant get any they we should be looking at him.

I have to say that the goalkeeper situation does not worry me.
For me we can sign another free transfer player in this position. I don't care much about this position, allthough Steve Mandanda is my choice.

I would love a boring keeper in goals, the last unboring keeper we had was Gomes, and he was hit or miss, i would say Brad a boring keeper and he is the best we have had in a long time!

Boring doesnt mean crap, it means they do what they have to do and nothing too flash, somthing i would expect from the keeper and defence, its the attacking players i would want to be more exciting.

This is true. As long as they do the job, that's all that matters. i suppose an exciting gk might be one who is simply astonishing - doing all the right things plus making saves that he has absolutely no right to make? He must also captain his area and his defenders I believe. Apologies for Scotland/IoW comments btw. Intemperate idiocy.
