He's not as Hard as I thought he'd be judging from the skinhead look and height for a Full Back....and er...being from Glasgow.

Think he looks a bit of a girl with the socks over the knee Henry stylee, but very thrilled he came, cheers for asking!

Have you got another Richard Gough we could loan for a year or 2 please?
If we find another Gough we will keep him. Or maybe £15m to you guys.

They're not, especially, but that's not the point. They should, on paper, be far harder work than most SPL teams—it's like Vale and Southend being more troublesome for us than most of our UEFA opponents last season, particularly the Christmas shoppers from Bucharest.

Your first point is not true. Celtic and Rangers are two of the biggest clubs in the world. The fact that Celtic and Rangers can get to the last 16 of the Champions League with an embarrassing amount of tv money demonstrates as much. In terms of world wide fan base, Celtic are in the top 5 (they're pretty much the official catholic team, after all). The team who finishes last in the Prem actually gets a fair bit more tv money than the winners of the SPL, if I remember right.

It really is all about the television money. If Celtic and Rangers played in the Prem, they would get that money and would be pushing for a CL spot within a couple of years, if not sooner (their exploits in Europe compared to some Prem teams demonstrates how well they match up to the likes of Everton).
Absolutely spot on Clyde. I couldnt have said it better myself.

Nice to see some fellow scots on the forum. Back on topic, I am absolutely delighted with Hutton and always had faith in him to do the business down here.

You missed his point. Partick are an awful Scottish team, yet they gave Rangers a better game than a team that you would generally consider far superior. Look, no one is saying the SPL is as good as the Prem. We are saying that it is nowhere near as bad as some down south make out. Even Aberdeen held Bayern Munich to a 2-2 draw in the Uefa Cup. And the Dons have been piss poor this season.

To be fair, I am exaggerating a fair bit. It's not really shit. I'm just used to Premier League football and in particular, Tottenham.

I am from Inverness originally but, the rest of my family are from Aberdeen. I am hoping to get to an Old Firm match in the near future if by some miracle I can get a ticket.

Do you watch any football outside of the premier league, CL and Uefa Cup?

That commentator's a bit of a spaz, isn't he?

It's from Rangers TV, so that's why he was going a bit mental.

I like a bit of passion in my commentators. I'm a Celtic fan, but I thought the commentator was pretty decent. Maybe a bit over the top for a youth cup final game, mind you!

Yeah, I like commentators to be more enthusiastic than the boring bastards who are classed as the best for some reason (Martin Tyler and John Motson). Foreign commentators (perhaps only Spanish ones) are way too over the top though...
"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL GOALA GOALA GOALA GOALA GOALA GOALA GOALA GOALA GOALA GOALA GOALA GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL"

My favourite commentator is probably Peter Drury from ITV.
