So it’s looking like £45m a year and only Man U bigger like for like (City (lol) includes stadium too).

Hit the big time now.

The Nike is smaller because we prob needed guaranteed revenues when banks looking at ratios etc on financial close.

where have you found an extra 5m?

320m divided by 8 = 40m

Just seems every report states 30m but that could just come from one incorrect source

Surely the accounts will show the amount?

Not a plc anymore so it will probably be undisclosed.

Also have to remember they had 3 years left on the current deal at £35m. Guess this was bumped.

Adidas and Emirates deal gives them 30m more than our deal with Nike and AIA. Main diff is Adidas are paying them double what Nike are paying us. Nike got an excellent deal. Levy for once had to be the recipient

I know someone who worked closely on this deal and he told me this is now known as the most complex agreement ever written in Nike sponsorship history. There are many bonuses included in the deal, us getting to the champions league final was, im told 'very expensive' for them. Levy is no mug.

Levy does like to complicate a deal. Seems to be his negotiating tactic. So many points to negotiate over he just wear them down through exhaustion.

I remember when tim leiweke (maple leaf ceo) explained some of the terms of defoes transfer to torronto. Not only did we get a transfer fee. Maple leaf had to promote our merchandise across canada and also provide advice and contacts to the nfl in assistance to getting our stadium built.

Comments from aulas and fergie seem to confirm that levy doesn't treat a transfer as a transfer but will try to get everything he possibly can out of it for spurs.

The thing that gets me is there are obviously structures in place that make it a good deal but he doesn't feel the need to publicise it to ease the fans/boost his ego. Happy just to get the deal in our favour and move on. Big fan of that.

Can well believe it.

He does our nut in sometimes but you can’t ever say he does not do his best for the club in every decision. Every £ he treats like his own. He is a supreme businessman - no doubts whatsoever on that front. No better chairman to oversee the infrastructure projects these last few years.

Approx 30p in every £ is his own :)

Which is not a criticism, by the way !

Levy owns 30% of Enic. Enic owns something like 95% of Spurs. So approx 30p (give or take) of every £1 spent on a player is in fact DL's dosh...

Levy's family (left by his father i believe) own 29% of enic. Enic own 85% of spurs.

I should have re-googled it first

So it's 24.65p of every £1

Which is not quite approximately 30p but you get the point :)
