My preference would be to see Egypt advance quite far in the tournament, keeping Salah away for longer, and then for Mo to get a muscle injury. Maybe that's just me though.Nice goal just then.
I'm currently cheering them on but in all honesty, that's mainly because of Salah!
Bugger, I hadn't thought of it like that.My preference would be to see Egypt advance quite far in the tournament, keeping Salah away for longer, and then for Mo to get a muscle injury. Maybe that's just me though.
I know, how crazy was that. There should have been a fair bit of extra time also. The Tunisians are furious.Ref in Tunisia v Mali game blew FT whistle early TWICE. ?
And a cooling break. Don't blame the Tunisians to be honest. That was ridiculous. That was hilarious, AFCON always throws up mad stuff like that.
In any other game that would've been at least five added, with subs and two VAR penalties.
Only three is a bit of a joke as well tbh. They've been told they've got to play out the final 3 mins of injury time ?
After weeks and weeks of people saying how everybody should watch the AFCON we’ve had a series of the worst incredibly dull games I’ve ever seen and now a ref blowing the final whistle after 85mins….Ref in Tunisia v Mali game blew FT whistle early TWICE. ?
Need to do it like the Americans with NBA/NFL etc, stop the clock when it goes out of play. I definitely feel like most games are not accurately timed in football to include stoppages etc. Its silly.Only three is a bit of a joke as well tbh.
Timekeeping in football needs some serious addressing. At the very least take it out of the on-field referee's hands.

I have no issues at all with Tunisia refusing, they should've been playing 10 minutes at least.Just watched the ending. Crazy stuff. Blew on 85 minutes, a dodgy red card, and then blew on 89:40 to end the game for good. No added time for 9 second-half subs, 2 var checks, a drinks break.
After the game, during the press conferences, both teams were told they'd have to play 3 added minutes. Mali went onto the pitch and Tunisia refused!
Again, crazy!
