If you use newspapers/magazines etc rather than just plain paper then the trees aren't quite as bigger concern (yes still bad as not recycling I know...but it is a one-off)!

As for the cleaners....a) they get paid to do it and b) they have to clean anyway, so won't make any difference to them!

Come on people...lets do everything we can to make it a memorable night!

They did a similar thing a couple of season ago when Bristol City got thrashed by Cardiff at the City Ground. A spontanious shower of season tickets.

To be honest I have s feeling it will look pretty shot full stop , a few thousand people chucking newspaper over each other isn't going to be all that cool. The angles are wrong I would have thought to get it out over the pitch/players
