Wasn't there ITK that said to ignore a lot of what's out there as it's spin?

There was, but I think Herc said after that they he couldn’t make out what was happening with the information he had. His opinion was that it happened but that was a few days back.

That £7m from Sissoko will be a nice down payment towards Adama ?

Once Mendes has sorted out Ronaldo, I can see this deal moving forwards again.

Just not sure we really need him you know.

If Wolves want us to pay 40 million cash and a decent amount upfront, not sure it's worth it.

He would be an upgrade on Moura on the right, but one of Moura's biggest attributes is his dribbling. Ok it's not as effective as Traore, nor is he as strong or fast, but both of them lack severely in end product.

Is it really worth spending 40+ million on a winger who marginally improves but shares the same strengths, but also many of the same weakenesses.

I think you might be right.

The Wolves manager's comments about Traore have hardly been definitive this week. On Tuesday he said "I think so", when asked if Adama would still be their player at the end of the transfer window, and today said "I'm still confident" when asked if he would stay.

If he really isn't for sale, surely you just say "Yes, he will remain our player. We won't be selling him".

Until we start getting credibly linked with strikers I'll be of the mind that we haven't given up on this deal.

Personally I'd be very happy with upping the fee based on performance-related bonuses. In the (relatively unlikely) event that he adds goals and assists to his game his value would skyrocket. With adds-on pegged to goal and assist production, Wolves get the money in to buy Guedes as the replacement now and still stand to benefit from the upside of the player later. We meanwhile nail down deal for the player that Nuno wants without taking on major risk. That's how I'd be looking to structure the deal if I were Paratici.

Get him the fuck in and we are going to be lethal.

Grounds crew will be cleaning dingleberries off the pitch as the opposition will be shitting themselves all match with Kane, Son and Adama running at them.

If he is Nuno's number 1 target. It is a must we sign him...
True. But easier said than done. Especially so late in the window. They need plenty of time to find replacement(s), and the clock is running down, fast. Really have no idea how this gets done or why Wolves would be open to it at this juncture. As Herc seemed to imply... it's complicated. Which as we all know in Spurs parlance, means there's about a 25% chance it will happen.

I wonder if they are open to the possibility of taking someone like Sess on loan for the season as a part of the deal? I know the two don't compare, but perhaps it softens the blow a bit.

Shit, I'm just talking out my bum.

I'd love to see this happen. But if not possible before the end next week, perhaps we can revisit in January.

They reportedly working on bringing in Goncalo Guedes as a replacement. As you’ve highlighted, I’d imagine us signing Adama is contingent on them getting Guedes in.

Definitely a situation to watch as a proxy for this deal.

Wasnt Tanguy was Poch’s 1 target in Summer 2019?

Yep. If I'm reading this right you're implying we should sign Traore for Nuno, as we've got a history of signing our managers number 1 target.
I do like your optimism, and I hope you're right.
