So what's the deal with his muscles?

Is it a genuine strategy to have explosive pace, power and strength on the ball, or is he just a gym enthusiast?

I find it quite interesting, because hardly any footballers look like him, although if they wanted to a lot of them could, given time.

If it doesn't effect a player's mobility, it makes you wonder why more footballers don't bulk up.

PS I've always said that Sanchez needs to put on a stone of muscle. For a tall lad, he's way too weak.

Yeah I can only think of Antonio. They both look like Rugby players, rather than footballers.

Antonio is a very good player though.

I think he just wants to look like me.

For most it massively effects mobility, he is a freak of nature.

Who else is buzzing to sign this guy? Reall wanted Vlahovic and/or Martinez but with Kane staying it'd soften the blow plus it is what it is, and I really like Traore.

Lol. I would say he straddles the line between Rugby player and nightclub bouncer :D.

Funny you should say that..

Antonio is a very good player though.

There have been plenty of examples in different sports over the years where there's a set level for physical fitness and then someone, or a team, comes along a smashes everyone else to bits because they're on another level in this area. Which then forces everyone else in the sport to hit the gym hard.

Makes you wonder whether there'll be a coach in the future who decides to forego a bit of technique to field a team of 'Traores', resulting in major success and forcing the sport to rethink physical conditioning.

Can you imagine 10 outfield 'Traores' running around the pitch; it'd be complete chaos, but potentially totally unplayable.

And Antonio has become a much better finisher in his late 20s. Started as a fullback, didn’t he? Doesn’t mean that will happen for everyone, but a case where a super athletic bad finisher has become a decent one with age. Traore a better athlete than Antonio was as well.

Does anyone have any idea on his influence in the dressing room? My initial impression is that he is a really good guy. Not sure why but i could see him, Dele and Sonny yucking it up.

Would also love to have him on the team just for the next Battle of the Bridge.

Reminds me of when Jonah Lomu broke onto the rugby scene, and that game against England when he literally ran over our players!

Really want him now just for the utter chaos he creates - for the first half vs wolves you could tell we were struggling to deal with him and it just felt like we could not cope. When we finally won the ball back after chasing after him we just hoofed it to get a breather. Would love to get him and see how much space he creates for Kane and Son
