I always back under 6.5 goals with 365 and over 6.5 goals elsewhere leaving me with a free £50 bet to use as I please but think your sort of method makes more sense. Reckon it could turn out to be tight (cue the goal fest now!) so am thinking over 1.5 goals before and under 1.5 in play (11/4). Presumably, there's nothing in the T's and C's to say you can't place bets so that you have guaranteed profit coming your way?

Can't see BTTS in one half so I'm either going for Draw/Barca pre-game returns £7 profit and Juventus in-play wins £200 profit, or Juve/ Barca to win pre-game returns £12.50, draw in-play returns £110

I did. Was sick during the 2nd half when the goal was (rightly) disallowed and I got very lucky.

Yeah we've all had late goals go against us but your mate must be gutted.

I follow a couple of betting pages on Facebook which are pretty fun - they do £20 to £1000 challenges in about 9 or 10 bets, and are reasonably often successful. I've not managed to have the balls to stick one out yet - I tend to bank once it's a couple of hundred up, but I did make about £600 so far this year following them.

One of them is doing a £20-£50k challenge at the moment, trying to do it in 30 bets. We're 7 bets in and up to £133 at the moment...

As for accers, I rarely have any luck with them. One thing I do like to do though is grab a bunch of in-plays where a team is 2 goals up - and therefore very likely to win. Get about ten of them together and you'll bump up enough to give you some decent odds, whack a tenner on and make a nice small profit. Works quite often but you need the luck of having lots of games where a team has a decent lead all at the same time.

Wasn't a great betting weekend to be fair.

I always think the first couple of months of the season can be a bit expensive as there are lots of unexpected results. Because of this the bookies offer some good odds on top teams where you can't believe the price you're getting and you will tear your hair out when your bet goes down the toilet.

I was lucky to have an accumulator come in on the first weekend of the season for £100 but that profit has almost gone now.
