I'm shocked that Gus is having to use a folded page torn from a comb-bound notepad on which to to draw his diagrams. It's an utter disgrace. Can't we afford proper clipboards any more?

I think its time to sack the guy who orders the stationary. If we want to be a top 4 club we need to have the best stationary!

Why can't we afford a virtual notepad or some kind of Head Up Display?

What does Levy do with all our money?

I noticed the blonde next to him rubbing her nose when the TV panned over the directors box.

Perhaps it all went up there........

I've got it.....Levy's a coke fiend, that's why we lost last night! He's got all the players on drugs!

Surely we should have one of the digital boards that Andy Gray uses....

I can't complain about the game too much, we came up against very tough opposition, they played very well considering they were away from home, and although they did outplay us, they only had a couple of clear cut chances.

And lets be honest, if it wasn't for a terrible mistake, we would have been 0-0 for the away leg.
Going to be very difficult over there, personally, I can't see us winning against that team, however, Ramos is very good when playing 2 legs against teams, as he has proved already with us, so lets get behind the boys.

surely that'd help us win

and yeah, I noticed this too

it wasn't even note paper, as b_o said... it looked like the PSV teamsheet... we can't even provide paper!

I bet that's why Newcastle are doing so poorly since Ashley took over... his Sports Direct group are failing, so he needs to get them back on track... and Newcastle United are the perfect cover for a criminal empire, as the fans are so delluded they won't even notice that the club is going too shit!

Ashley installs happy, crazy,CHEAP Keegan to please the fans, while Ashley goes around buying players and staff with the intention of them bringing with them a large quantity of resalable goods with them... I bet we've mysteriously lost all our training bibs and little cone things...

Should we warn Leeds? I bet you Wise managed to steel all their office chairs n taps

I'm gonna go to Sports World today, i bet they've got a shelf full of 99p clipboards!

Why? Did he demand lodes of pens and paper as part of contract

Perhaps he wasn’t to start up his own stationary store, to tie him over when he retires.

Sounds wise to me.

yeah, 1.5 million in cahs, and the other 15 mil in rulers, protractors, and notepads....

with an option of several rubbers if he decides to extend.

Well he will have to erase his poor form to get that.

*Laughs to self*

I’ll err, get my coat.

I noticed that last night and thought of poor old Chris stuck up in Toonland but happy to have better stationary.

Stationary aside, we were pretty brainless last night so overall losing 0-1 was a good result.... it could have much worse 0-2 0r even 1-2 and the tie would have been as good as over. Great save by Robinson. Great performance by their goalie.

Makes it it pretty clear cut for the 2nd leg. Audere est Facere. Get that away goal early, and it may be 1-1 but the advantage will be with Spurs, our away support will make plenty of noise, the blood will be up, and PSV will be under severe pressure to attack but not to conceed a second.

Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery, Stationery. I'll be moving soon, so i'll no longer be stationary . Shall I write this down for you, on some stationery?

Oh and by the way: the reason we lost last night was because we did not play with any sort of tempo until we went a goal down, and by that time we had given the initiative to a very experienced, technically and tactically proficient team. Those who think we were reliant on Robinson hoofing the ball forward are doing him a disservice. He was passing the ball long, just as Gomes was doing with his prodigious throws.

Those throws were something else. Gomes actually throws the ball further than Cerny can kick it. I just missed out on the Ted Ditchburn era, but I seem to remember my grandfather telling me that he could heave the ball an amazing distance.

And he had very heavy balls to throw!

I say we have a whip round at SC and buy Andy Townsend's old Tactics Truck. Gus would have his own little space then, he'd love that.

Why not send some of the youth team lads around to Rymans and get them to fill their pockets.
