Some of our fans still manage to fuck up 'o when the spurs'....

A lot of them fuck up "Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur" you know you've got problems when the fans get the line wrong that happens to be the title of the song. Imagine the scousers singing "You'll never work, Allen" by mistake.

You have to admit, as much as we hate them Liverpool have the best songs for their players. Torres's was great untill it got nicked by Chelski, and they've already got crackers for Maxi and Suarez.

O.K you gotta work with me on this. I have been driving all day from Basildon up to Rochdale, Cheadle, Stockport and Oldham. And back again. What I do when I'm all alone in my cab, is belt out Spurs songs (I'm sure we all do it).

Today I went through the whole back catalogue at the top of my voice and discovered that I really hate that Modric song. Its an embarassment to a player with so much ability.

So I tried to think of one of my own. And......Well, you know when you've cracked it, cos you just know, right?

Ok its been a long day, but could it work?

I must say I love it!

when I first looked at it in writing I thought, well written but too long; works on the internet but would never work on the terraces. I thought the air of the song might be a bit too soft, but, after having the track playing and singing the words along, I reckon it could work.

The difficulty is getting from the internet onto the "terraces". It would be great to see some kind of initiative among spurs fans, possibly fans on this site who regularly go to games, to get good chants and songs together and then make a concerted effort to get them onto the "terraces". It is very easy for me to say, because I don't go to games regularly, so I wouldn't be in a position to do any of the work; but I think our lack of songs is very disappointing - particularly when we tell every set of opposition fans that they're support is "fucking shit."

It would probably be a very long shot, but the club might find some way of supporting such an initiative indirectly, to try and ramp up our support of the team.


Or we could just sing "stand up if you hate Arsenal".
