6 at minimum, hoping for maybe about 10 if we show some spirit again. That'll guarantee us 5th and would be a good season overall. Given up on more than that and would actually be midly pist off with less than that now.

I think we'll beat Arsenal and City. Draw against Chavs, lose at Anfield.

Going for 73 points.

If we play like we did at Newcastle we lose all 4.
How often have we played like we did at Newcastle?

We got 5 points from the top 3 in the reverse fixtures and beat both Burnley and Sheffield United. And we all know how the Chelsea game went, if we had 11 players we likely would have won with how we were all over them like a rash.

Arsenal at home can be the catalyst for the final run-in of the season.

So if chelsea win or Coventry win the FA Cup then I believe 6th is europa conference league

If city or United win then 7th is conference league

would be good for us if Villa could get past Lille. More games for them, can see them getting tired in the last few games
It went just about as well as we could have hoped tonight. Villa played a full strength team and it went to extra time and pens and then they progressed

They are going to be knackered on Sunday

My glass is always half full !

Was just wondering this. Is it confirmed now, haven’t seen it in the press anywhere ?
England's chances are now hanging by a thread. Aston Villa will have to win the UECL, and all three matches, and hope Germany completely fail in the semifinals.

So Germany just need a win and a draw or 3 draws from the six semifinal fixtures

It's not mathematically certain, but very unlikely. England's maximum score is now 18.25, which would be achieved if Villa win both legs of the semi, and then also win the final without needing penalties. Germany is on 17.928, therefore needing 0.322 points to be certain of finishing above England even if Villa win out. This would be achieved with a win and a draw, or three draws (in single games, not overall ties) between their remaining 3 teams. i.e. out of Munich, Dortmund and Leverkusen, we need 4 losses and 2 draws across their 6 semi-final matches. Even then, England could still be thwarted in the unlikely scenario that PSG and Marseille won their respective competitions, with wins in both legs of the semis and without a shootout in the final, which would then see France get the bonus place.

4th or higher it is! I’m still hoping for Arsenal/Liverpool free falls… 🌈
