Another wasted season, started well then went into freefall, played shite football for the most part, internal conflicts, players downed tools, manager got sacked, humiliated in Europa, knocked out of FA Cup and didn't turn up in the Carabao final, and all this before our best player fucks off, brilliant and this is before I get into ENIC but anyway I digress...Go!

Best Player: Kane

Worst Player: Doherty

Best up and comer: Rodon

Most improved player: Lloris

Most disappointing player: Ndombele

High point of the season: Beating Arsenal to go top of the league

Low point of the season: That Liverpool winner - totally killed us.

Favourite Goal: Lamela Robona

Best all round Performance: Utd away 6-1

Worst all round Performance: Brighton Away 0-1 - pathetic

Season Rating. 3/10

Was about to make a thread like this. Beat me to it.

1/10 for me though. Can’t think of anything I was really happy with. The 1 comes from beating Leicester and finishing above the scum again.

Mainly wanted to say a thank you to everyone on this forum and to the mods though.

Its been a shite couple seasons and shite year to be honest. But this forum is a great space and I appreciate everyone on here.

Moving from the UK to Canada with my family when I was in my late teens made me feel quite isolated and cut off from the culture I grew up in. Dedicatedly supporting spurs brought back that connection I felt I was missing. So yeah I appreciate the good conversation we all have on here as it’s hard to come by where I live regarding football.

Additionally it’s been a rough year for a lot of us, some more so than others. But it’s always nice to know there’s a whole community here to have conversation with and confide some time in over these strange times.

Light at the end of the tunnel and all that with respect to COVID. Hoping Levy can replicate something similar with a new manager and approach to things - yes optimistic.

Ps: Recently finished uni and acquired a job that I start on Tuesday. So I will be donating to the forum once the first pay cheque comes in. I recommend if others spend as much time as I do on here and have some spare cash to do the same.

Junk season.

But with a decent manager, we'll be back in the Top 4 and the CL in 22/23.

Best Player: Kane
Worst Player: Dier
Best up and comer: Rodon
Most improved player: Over the course of the season it has been Aurier
Most disappointing player: Ndombele
High point of the season: Bale's unveiling last summer.
Low point of the season: Kane's interview with Neville last week.
Favourite Goal: Aurier's versus Man U away - a great team goal with some slick football.
Best all round Performance: Beating Man City 2-0 at home
Worst all round Performance: Arsenal away 1-2 - pathetic tactics and team selection by Mourinho. Seemed almost deliberate it was so bad.
Season Rating. 2/10

It was the best of times it was the worst of times...”

Really poor second half of the season, we have shot ourselves in the foot time and time again since just before Christmas. I see this year as a massive missed opportunity. Really should have gone further in Europe and the FA cup, really should have finished higher up the league.

Still there have been one or two great moments, like the win at Old Trafford, Sonny’s goal against Arsenal, beating Chelsea on penalties, Eric Dier going for a poo during a game, Ndombele’s goal against Sheffield United, and Bale scoring goals for us again.

Hope for better next year.

On a positive note, a big thank you to Ryan for stepping up. A shite season, but it would have been absolutely devastating without him.

This is the table since he took over:

The Mourinho experiment failed as people expected it to, but at least the club didn't dig in belligerently, and I couldn't see Mourinho ending the season with the same form, unfortunately.

@Shadydan - I've nicked your template and here goes.

Best Player: Kane

Worst Player: Sissoko

Best up and comer: Hoyberg ( but faded - maybe Covid/exhaustion?)

Most improved player: Japhet Tanganga

Most disappointing player: Aurier.

High point of the season: Beating Man U 6-1 at OT - The planets were aligned that Sunday

Low point of the season: Zagreb Europa defeat 3-0 - So unnecessary, complete capitulation

Favourite Goal: Lamela that Rabona, jawdrop moment, ultimately a waste in the greater scheme of things.

Best all round Performance: Utd away 6-1

Worst all round Performance: West Ham at home. You know the one. It became a recurring theme.

Season Rating. 2/10

JM should have gone after the Europa League debacle...and I'm a Jose fan.

If he had have gone then, we may even have made CL.

Best Player: Kane

Worst Player: Doherty. Out of his depth.

Best up and comer: Rodon. Yeah, like this guy.

Most improved player: Lloris. Underappreciated.

Most disappointing player: Ndombele. A wasted talent. Also Dele, of course.

High point of the season: Top of the league

Low point of the season: Leeds. Not because it was the worst performance, but because it meant there was just no hope now.

Favourite Goal: Lamela

Best all-round performance: I didn't feel we put in any. Mourinho didn't have us playing as a team

Worst all round Performance: Zagreb was truly shambolic

Season Rating. 6/10. It was very depressing, but 7th isn't that awful in the greater scheme of things (yes, I lived through the 90s). We also got to a cup final and we still finished above Arsenal. Despite everything, had we beaten Leeds we could have made Champs League, perhaps. Not long ago that would have been an 8/10. Yes, the vibe at the club has been terrible, but if you think the achievements were then you clearly haven't been supporting Spurs for long.

Best Player: Kane

Worst Player: Doherty / sissoko tied

Best up and comer: Dropping down a league to young Skipp. Excited to see him come back to the prem. Could be a diamond.

High point of the season: being top and playing like bosses.

Low point of the season: Zagreb loss.

Favourite Goal: Lamela vs arsenal. Pure audacity.

Best all round Performance: Utd away 6-1

Worst all round Performance: West Ham.

Season Rating: could have been worse / 10

I really don't get why people say Ndombele is most disappointing player.
Expectation for me. I see his skill and thr skies the limit for the lad. Not happening. Other players came close, but I don't have the same level of expectation as I do with Tanguy.
