I'm loving that 7 points at home to Man City, Arsenal and away at Liverpool. There's nothing wrong at all with optimism. Personally I think we will do well to go through them 3 unbeaten I guess we will have to wait and see.

Haaland isn’t making great runs is he.
The truth is no City player is making any run so when they have it on the edge of the box their only pass is sideways. Despite City camped on the outskirts of Arsenal’s area there is only ever Haaland in box surrounded by at least 2 defenders. Poor boring football from City and boring unadventurous football from the S. Londoners. And these are Title Contenders!!!

Has a goalkeeper ever received a second yellow for time wasting? It's almost pointless booking them for doing it...
The irony is that By booking them for time wasting before they take the kick they just add even more time wasted!

Stands out like a sore thumb in this City side. He's not a technical player.
Maybe true but at least he endeavors to take a defender on and create something rather than just endlessly recycling the ball around the outskirts of the area.

As always, the elite clubs get special treatment. Particularly observable when they meet each other.
Yeah this is what irks me.

If its Burnley Luton, you can guarantee that there's been a 2 or yellows before HT. Then some players may be living on the edge.

I don't like to see players get cards early but at some point the ref has to say "enough" and show a yellow to a player who is repeatedly fouling.

That goes for all games

We are 8 points behind City who are fighting for the title.

Yet some are worried about United who we are 8 ahead of.
Yeah agreed I don't get this. People were paranoid about Utd given they would "definitely" win yesterday. Given they have dropped 2 pts its an insurmountable task for them barring a total collapse by us.

Very poor footballer at PL level. Without his absolutely brilliant finishing he would find it difficult to make a good living in football.

PL teams now seem to have worked out how to play him and he therefore struggles to get chances to score.

You're answering your own question here a bit. Who's more likely to lose an 8-point advantage? Us or City? Overwhelmingly us.

In both cases, I suspect City will not be caught by us under any circumstances, and it's unlikely a poor United would do enough even if we did have a bad run.

We've got tough fixtures coming up, but United also have some. So it'll be very disappointing if 5th isn't our floor for this season's finish, which is a very solid start for Ange.
