Compare that half with how we played in the first 20 minutes away at Luton. There’s no comparison! What has happened to the football we were playing the first third of the season? The difference is staggering.

Not sure what has happened to the Bissouma we saw at the start of the season. I would argue that his form then was a big reason why we looked so good and topped the table at the start. He now looks like he did under Conte - scared to make an error so always choosing what he thinks is the safe option. Many people told me what a bargain we have got in Bissouma Lol
Is it the same reason that we have been hammered in a few? There's a reason Luton haven't been hammered in any of these big games.
It’s easy to explain. Our football was new and teams didn’t know what to expect. Over time teams figured out that all of our goals come from transitions and turnovers high up the field and that we’re susceptible to wide overloads and quick transitions. Teams just learned how to neutralize us. When we’re totally sharp or score first, we look great. If we’re not perfectly clean or concede first, we struggle. We’re largely ineffective against a set defense, and that’s the bit that ange keeps referring to when he says our attacking play isn’t there yet.just cannot explain the drop off since those first 10 games.
We've been in a transitional season for about five yearsAlmost like a team in a transitional season, with a coach trying to change the entire train of thinking at the club.
We did, unfortunately it was in reverse.Forgetting the result so far a moment, I honestly thought we'd come flying out of the gates after the last game but it's just been flat in general. That's been the disappointing aspect for me. Where's that spirit and fight shown even up until quite recently?
I wonder if the Malaria story is what’s affected him. It can be reallly debilitating even after recovery. Not sure what has happened to the Bissouma we saw at the start of the season. Ironically that leads to him making more errors than if he trusted his ability and played with bravery and confidence. At the start of the season we saw him dribble through the press a lot more frequently and drive through the middle and he looked outstanding. Now he nearly always looks for the simple pass.
Currently he is not a better option than Skipp or Hojberg. His ceiling is higher, but if he doesn't use his ball carrying ability then he will not play to his potential.
Bissouma was dynamite in early season and has completely dropped off.
Him beating the press and playing out was critical to our early season form.

I would get that point if we were crap the first half of the season. We pressed all together, did not give teams 1 sec on the ball, how is that gone. it is not like you forget to play like that, it looks like all mentality to me.Almost like a team in a transitional season, with a coach trying to change the entire train of thinking at the club.
Wish i had your optimism be lucky to get a draw the way we are playing. We'll still win this.
They're shaky at the back and I think we will score two quick goals at the start of the half.
3-1 final score
My point is this Luton side's going to go down because of what happened at Bournemouth and losing at home to Sheffield United; they've been very good in the games against the top six.Is it the same reason that we have been hammered in a few?
People in here blaming Kulu because of a wayward pass avoiding that from Bissouma. Beggars belief.I wouldn't mind but he's not even closing people down. That disgraceful attempt to stop andros for their goal was so lazy.
Yep. Again, I'm fine (a lifetime of Spurs fandom has seen to that) with disappointing results which are going to happen, especially during the first season in a long overdue transition. The thing that stands out to me in the last two weeks is that the spirit/attitude that was present even during our down times this season seems to have evaporated all of a sudden. Incredibly strange. This formation doesn't really operate without a threat from wide
