That’s a great point. It seemed throw on a load of attacking players and see if anything sticks.

Midfield is supposed to be our strength and has been performing poorly week after week. They are just careless with the ball along with Sonny which led to our back line being put in difficult positions time and time again. Maddison, Bissouma, and Bentancur have not come close to past form. Disappointing.

Well that’s where it started with injuries, bans, tournaments. So I think the root was there.

We had them last game, and it was not very different from today. It’s tactics and lack of effort. We have enough players to beat the shit out of teams like wolves

I can accept losing, especially as it’s a transitional season for us, but the manner in which we defended is arguably the worst I’ve seen from us in a very long time. Newcastle away comes to mind however the players were mentally done with Conte/Stellini and the personnel we had in defence were rubbish players.
Every single player who started today has brought into Ange and are playing exactly how he wants them to. It’s that part that’s the most concerning. Our defending is akin to what you see in lower divisions or when a team is chasing a game in the 90th+ minute. It’s naive, stupid and suicidal. Ange needs to change something quickly otherwise he won’t last here.

Moving him central to get a shooting opportunity would have made a lot of sense but he somehow ended up in the hole on the left. Madness.

Very true mate, I knew this was going to be a transitional season but I expected much more flowing football. Not completely sure what we are trying to do at the moment.
