This shape doesn’t work when the full backs aren’t either pushing from deep like Udogie or are creative like Porro. At the minute neither full back can even defend let alone offer anything going forward.

I know Richarlison works hard and has done well in Son’s absence but now that he’s back he should be playing centre forward with Richarlison returning to the bench. It’s like when we had Kane, as soon as he was fit again he goes straight back into the side.

Kulusevski on the other hand has been poor for ages yet he keeps getting picked. I know Johnson has been hot and cold but at least he’s chipped in with a couple of goals recently.

There’s honestly nothing impressive or brave about this defending. We’re scrambling all over the place, putting in lucky last ditch tackles and hoping for poor finishing against us.

Something has to change because this is terrible.

Teams have adapted to how we play under Ange, every team we've played for the last 10 games or so play the same way. The players need to show more, our press is non existent.
