If there’s point deductions Everton surely don’t get it this season though right? I mean as people said above it’s for two different periods? So surely if they’ve been deducted 10 already this season they would deduct the other ten for the start of next season?

Ten off for Forest would really put a spanner in their works mind you.
They've got mitigating circumstances, as do forest. I can't remember what they are atm (Inebriated), but I heard David O talk about them earlier, and he reckon's they'll get off.

If Forest gets into financial trouble, I hope we go for their striker Awonyi - he is the real deal.

His Goal contribution is 18 (15 goals 3 assist) in 1.5 season - he has had groin surgery. If he recovers well from his groin trouble, and plays with better player, he is a kind of striker that will score plenty.

At Union Berlin, previous season had 25 goal contribution. His xG conversion rate is one of the best.
Good shout. Looks like he could definitely step up a few levels from this current Forest side (along with Gibbs-White who I’d live at Spurs if it wasn’t so obvious it would cost an arm and a leg).

Just read an article claiming that if they are charged on Monday, the punishments will be given and take effect before April 2024… worrying for them but hey, rules are rules I guess.

All these articles say the same stuff about how City’s case is bigger and takes longer, but it is a bit gutting to see the smaller clubs being punished and City can just tank on winning stuff in the meantime.

Might better to take their medicine this year. The bottom three are so poor, and if Forest get a points deduction they’ll be in the shit too. Everton probably have enough about them to get out of it.

Was about to say, even if they get another 10 deduction they'll only be 5 behind Burnley and likely able to survive. If Forest got a deduction too they're done and as it stands Luton would be safe too.

Didn't Everton get 1 point per X million over the breach though? So depends how much both teams have overspent

Can you imagine the reviews of just how poor Luton, Sheffield United and Burnley have been this season would be, if Everton got a 20 point deduction and stayed up above them 🤦🏻‍♂️.

I mean rightly so in fairness, they’ve been mostly awful.

Luton have 16 points on board - most had their prediction for them to be having a tally less then Derby. For me, they are still in with a chance to get out given how tough they are as a side.

Forest have a tough period ahead with 6 gone for AFCON and Awoniyi only due in March.

Palace is my outside bet to get dragged into relegation. They are injury to Olise,Eze from being dragged into it

They have money in common ofcourse...they have better facilities like we have.

Chelsea have a history of losing out of academy players when they hit 16 or 17 because of lack of chances. Rice went to WestHam, Nketiah went to Arsenal. So many examples, of good players they lost out for nothing.

We have a similar academy infrastrucutre as City - City sold 260m of academy talents since 2017.

English local talents who been since 10 or 11. Or they go and scout likes of Lavia from obscuirty.

Just for 23-24,
Harwood Bellis - sold to Southampton for 20m.
Tommy Doyle-5m to Wolves,
Trafford- 15m to Burnley
Carlos Borges-14m to Ajax (been in club since 2015)

Its a known fact that, other clubs have also been taking their academy coaches & managers.
Like it or not....to say, money is the only reason is just lazy narrative.
Rice and Nketiah didn't leave due to a lack of opportunities, they were released by Chelsea.

There are plenty of native English speakers who don't know the difference between his and he's, which is more concerning.

Why's that?
I’m just digging out two regular posters on here that use “his” instead of “he’s “ in just about every post they write (his a good bloke, his got an ankle injury). Doesn’t matter how many times they’re corrected, they keep on keeping on. I guess many of our non-native English speakers like our Scandinavian cousins put them to shame.
