For me I would love a back line of:

Udogie
Alfie Doughty (set pieces, creates chances, HG)

Van de Ven
Kelly (pacey, former captain, PL proven)

Romero
Dragusin (talked to death about strengths in his thread)

Porro
Emerson

That would probably be the most realistic "Ange" back four that would also fit budget, HG, future proofing

Eight at the back? That's pretty novel.

You could have been describing Porro before this season, though he’s a little thicker than KWP.
Nah, Porro is a tough little sod and a solid build whereas KWP has the physique of a teenage lad. They may be similar heights, although I think Porro is the taller but that's where any comparison ends.

I know which one I'd fancy myself in a fight against. 😁

I woould beat the shit out of them both. At the same time even. But I`d rather keep Porro healthy and playing, we have enough injuries, don`t we...? Would be nice to have our first 11 playing ogether again

Can someone please comment seriously on how good he is and how he compares to others. Never been in a senior England squad. Perhaps injury prone. Perhaps some Bournemouth fans not that bothered about him? Would genuinely like to read people's ratings.

I think the best I could do would be to say that I reckon if we signed him that he would be what Ben Davies has been over his career at Spurs and never let us down at either LB or CB, specifically under this manager/system. He’s nothing like Davies as a player but I feel his strengths in being quite quick and being pretty good on the ball would be well suited to Ange’s system in either position. Us being linked to him doesn’t scream to me as a stroke of genius or anything but I can see why we would be interested in him as a squad player considering all those things, along with him likely being cheap and home grown. Every signing has risk attached but I’d be surprised if taking everything into account that if we signed him it wouldn’t turn out to be smart business.

I always said Lloyd Kelly was my preferred choice and definitely think he’s the best option and Dragusin is now dead to me until it’s back on again and then he’s my preferred choice.

Would like to see this done in this window. The defence will be absolutely sorted for the rest of the season because there will inevitably be more injuries or suspensions.
Can we send Reguilon the other way?

this is worth a read in the Cherries forum, however most talk is about him returning from injury AND him being out of contract in June so not a lot about his qualities. (not in the pages I scanned anyway)
