I would not be shocked - depending on the severity of Davies' injury - which nobody seems to know about.
I'd be completely bowled over!
Addressing areas we need, when we need them too. This is not the Spurs way from recent history.
I just hope Davies isn't too bad for him and us.

But it's us and its centre back. Also VdV is back and Romero is nearing a return. I think 1 centre is enough regardless of Davies (Sess is also back). I'll be delighted if we get 2 I just doubt it will happen.

Not shocking at all, been our most desperate position for years now
Exactly, its our most desperate position for years because we never address it properly. I mean shocking as in us actually doing it not the thought of it being required. Usually its a case of we needed a centre back but there was a good deal on another position available.

Dragusin and Kelly would round off our CB options nicely and give us another LB backup too. We need at least 4 starting quality CBs due to the strain Ange's football puts on them.

Sorting the CB situation would allow us to look at specialist full back cover in the summer which will be vital if we are back in Europe. I suspect there are teams moving for him now which may spring us into action.

Yes but that means in 6 games time we'll need someone to come on when he gets his yellow card ban.

And then 3 games later when he gets his red card ban.

I don't think the record level of injuries in the PL and with us this season is a coincidence. Games are now up to 10% longer and we're playing some very high intensity football under Ange. Being able to sub off either CB at 70-80 mins with a player that can come on and do a job is a great asset to have.

Dragusin is a fairly cheap CB option who can play both RCB and LCB.
Kelly is very cheap for a HG option that can also cover LB.

Having: Romero, VDV, Dragusin & Kelly as our main CB choices would be a breath of fresh air. That then allows Emerson to rotate for Porro and Davies to rotate for Udogie.

The only thing surprising in this ITK is that we're finally addressing areas that need addressing.

Phillip’s just gone out on Loan to Plymouth Argyle so that may back up the Lloyd Kelly rumours.

Kelly can also play LB and at just twenty five would be a great addition. If this happens along with Dragusin a defence made for the next decade.

Incredible.

Pleased to hear this latest ITK. Potentially means Davies is out for a spell but actually addressing that with a very calculated gamble (low cost due to contract, solid age, potential upside), quickly to avoid a difficult second half to the season is actually very logical. Especially if all the scouting work on Kelly says he’d be a good fit.

Fingers crossed we can sort it and it’ll set us up for a bit more stability at the back for the first time in what feels like ages!

Must have more than 1 CB in the frame if Dorrington has a loan to Millwall lined up and Phillips is already gone.

So Philips on loan, now Ali Z saying Dorrington might be off on loan, Davies injured, Dier nearly gone, Sanchez already sold.

Makes me think we are going for Dragusin and Kelly.

Could just be 1 considering neither has played but I guess the key would be if Dier goes as well
Phillips and Dorrington needed to go on loan as they're clearly never playing for us yet

After a see~saw of a night
this in the player thread
Yep and fans fall for it . We have been ahead of the trend guys with info ℹ️ that’s what’s annoyed me it’s no one’s fault but we can’t respect every journalist in Italy as credible or any for instance . They’re creating news for engagement and a piece of what’s hot there’s always truth in information somewhere but the story gets Manipulated to suit the agenda of the person providing it. I knew this was coming tonight as I posted it earlier before I left.

on to the juicy stuff and I held this back.
Radu barring any u turn from the player and his camp we have Vera lot agreed the deal
With them will be on his way to spurs very soon. He wants to come here like I’ve said for a few days bayerns intrest was there prior but they certified it yesterday he’s attracted to it as Bayern is a mega club but they haven’t formalised an offer at all yet even if they do they have a lot to do and I will applaud them for it . At the same time he wants to play for ange and come to Tottenham ange has been massive with this deal he’s also concerned about playing time and his growth as a footballer in Germany . Spurs are trying to close the deal and it could drop within hours . I did say today was the day and with every transfer there’s hiccups and threats it’s so common but with the Italian media it’s fucking intensified .

the club are confident of competing this deal very very soon .

WLB xx 💋

Apologies for the punctuation I’m tired x
