Awful news about the hamstring. Hoping it's not too serious. He has been so important to us these past few months.

He might not have been our best player this season, but his performances in the past couple of months have been as important as anybody else’s. Who knows how bad things could have got during the injury crisis if he hadn’t have stepped up and performed at such a high level.

Gutted he’s injured. Hope it’s a Romero type strain rather than a Van De Ven (or god forbid Sess…)

Given it’s now obligatory we get a new injury every game, this is probably actually one of the least damaging with VDV now ready to step in.

Still annoying though. Hope it’s just a few weeks rather than months.

Was surprised he didn’t get the armband tonight.

shame he had to be our weekly sacrifice to the injury Gods as Ben has been playing out of his skin.

He's proven me well and truly wrong these past few weeks. He is just a reliable lad who never gives up or lets things faze him.

Massive shame about the hamstring

And on that note, we really need to look into this because I am not condident it'll stop this season and will hinder our progress

A great servant to the club who never whinges/whines and just cracks on, like a real man.
His performances the last few weeks have been exceptional, and has been instrumental in stopping us going into free fall, given all the injury and suspension chaos around him.
He seems more at home as a centre back than a full back, or maybe he just does a decent hob wherever he is put.
Every football club/organisation needs a Ben Davies as they always deliver when asked.

Hope its not too bad and its just some bad cramp. I have praised him in the past and I've said many negative things too, but he's always tried for Spurs, he's a great lad by all accounts and this season he's been excellent in his role. He seems quicker than he used to be too, no clue how he's managed that. Fingers crossed

Davies has been doing really well, and is a top professional who never complains about being a squad player.

Considering that this appears to be the third hammy injury at CB, serious questions need to be asked about the physical conditioning of the players.

Edit: Trix was super fast in responding whilst I was editing my intitial post 😊

That super high line is requiring them to do a lot more sprinting in game.

Agreed. Just hoping that the fitness team make sure that the players are as physically prepared as they can be to cope with that. Extra worrying IMO as it has happened despite that we have a less congested schedule compared to most of our competitors.

Yep.

We're gonna need a few more CBs next season.

A good few.

He was my player of the season up to this point, very disappointing to see him pick up a knock.
