Once again I have to say that I am really disappointed with our display, and the managers team selection.

Attack is good but not clinical which puts pressure on our defense not to throw away the game, and our defense generally isn’t mentally strong and gets jittery/nervous, sometimes giving a goal away which costs us because our attack hasn’t put away chances that would have put the game to bed.

The amount of negativity i got suggesting i'd swap Zaha for Son in a heartbeat was pretty hilarious at the time. I still stand by it, when Son isn't having a purple patch he literally does nothing for the team.
We need a CM, a new LB and Trippier should be third choice. Yes he is great with the ball at his feet hitting a cross, or forward pass. But if that is your only talent as a right back then it's laughable he is first choice. Any attacking player must lick their lips seeing him as the full back they are up against. Yes, he's a likable guy, yes he is professional. But all the top teams in world football either have rapid full backs who stretch the other team or like Azpiqutilllala or however you spell his name, an absolute animal defensively, Tripps is sadly neither and our full backs are really stifling how this team plays currently.
