This kid and De Ligt would be very astute signings for the future and Poch is the perfect person to develop them.

Not really my point. We've seen a lot of people, the poster I quoted a regular amongst them, say things like oh great we've signed a third choice left back. He's played left wing as much as left back this season, and it's clearly a 'gentler' route into PL football.
