Also, and it's undeniable so I'll hear no arguments, it was all that shitty kit's fault today. Completely destroyed our mojo.

Science.
It shouldn't have to be said.

But you summed it up perfectly.

I don't care if we are contractually obligated to wear it in so many matches - break the contract, and lose that shirt.

I think that’s down to the added responsibility of being a vice captain. It’s unusual to have that but looks like a genuine piece of man management brilliance from Ange.
I think it's more to do with having a solid and reliable partner. He doesn't feel the need to jump in all the time, knowing VDV is there to cover and mop stuff up. Last season he must have felt like it all depended on him.

good grit it out win today. This match will be a great lesson on why you gotta really finish your chances and put these games to bed early. Luton grew into the match and got belief after the first 20 minutes.

Bissouma, what are you doing? hes been incredible this season, so i can't get insanely mad at him making one dumb ass decision. Lucky it was against luton and not in a bigger match where we would 100% get punished.

Good to see us get a clean sheet.

VDV nice finish, just slotted it home, has more composure than richarlison hahaha

We were very wasteful in the 1st half, bissouma was stupid, he'll need to learn from that.

Had to dig deep, and luckily Luton had very shoddy finishing.

The win was very unspursy though.

3 points but very disappointed. We will have our dose of reality by Christmas
So what if we do, are we going to be top for the majority of the season? Probably not.
But we’re 8 games into a new managerial era and we’re top of the league having not lost.

There may be a dose of reality ahead or maybe there won’t be, but you have to enjoy the ride while it’s going well or there’s nothing to enjoy.

I think with all the talk of Ange only playing one way (and from himself I might add) we handled that brilliantly after the goal. Smart substitutions, panic free, calm and defensive. I think he does know how to play in a different way to protect a lead and that is something I wasn’t expecting. That comes with experience and this manager has it in spades. I forget he’s almost 60 cos his football is so modern. What a man.

I know all fans think watching their team is stressful, but I can't believe any club rivals us for stressful watching.
I haven't been stressed at all this season. It's been great. Irritated at Bissouma letting the team down, but that's it.

VdV solid and reliable? He’s a fucking star, and a stand out defender. I think Romero is happy to let someone else take the limelight, and let him be solid and reliable.

Worth pointing out that it's fine to offer constructive criticism even when we're doing well. Different if you're constantly criticising but we all want the best for this club and it's fine to point out the things that aren't quite 100% while still backing the club and players.

Romero’s growth this season from a yellow card waiting to happen to a calm and considered player has been such an important part of our overall improvement

So much calmer and that is fantastic ! But I don’t like the walking football that he does a lot of the time when he has the ball. A couple times again today he almost lost the ball in very dangerous positions by allowing himself to be closed down.
