The bench is looking a little better with GLC and Gil on it (if that's indeed what happens). This one just needs to be a win any which way we can. Two more weeks of recovery for those two and Brennan back in contention and we'd have got most of the way through a tricky injury pile up without dropping points.

Ange has already turned around the fortunes of enough players to make him a very impressive manager. If he can add Gil or GLC then, yes, he may be the divinity.

Gil is perfect darting around the edge of the box for Maddison to find with those little through balls. Imagine it's the 80th minute and you've been chasing the ball all over and Gil comes on. Your legs are jelly and here's some 5ft nothing who never stops moving, constantly looking to get in behind and you've got to track his runs over and over and over.

He's going to be fun.
