Klopp being an adult there and the interviewer desperate to wind him up and get a reaction. Fucking hate that they do that.
I mean, going by almost every other example we have from Klopp historically, no one could reasonably have predicted that he'd act like an adult tonight.

It's clear we're getting into our opponents heads though. First Heckingbottom or whoever is complaining about us not letting them play the way they wanted to. Then Arteta whinging about something bollocks. And now Klopp/red scousers unable to deal with their team getting overawed and being sent off.

No one was expecting us to be this good, and they simply can't handle it.

After Abu Dhabi FC, I'd say we're playing the best football in the league right now.

Moved from the US to London 4 weeks ago. My 12 year old boy plays football and he has a few opportunities over here, so we decided to make the move. As a THFC fan for well over 48 years and been to many games in that time (grew up in Ireland for 41 years before moving to the US), we went to the last two home games and fuck me, what scenes. When Liverpool went down to 9 men, I turned to the guy next to me and said if we don’t win it from here, it will be a disaster. When the ball hit the net off of Matip, with a minute left, paying over the odds for our tickets was so worth it. The team is playing really well and can only get better from here.

I missed going to the game because my wife was ill and had to take my lad to play hockey, only getting to see the last 20 mins or so.

I therefore watched the extended highlights and Neville's constant wanking over everything Liverpool do is a bit weird no? Then there is the "oh no" when we were breaking right at the end.

The offside is pretty shit (for them obviously), but getting 2 players sent off is always shooting yourself in the foot. I think so many Liverpool fans and the pundits are upset because "heroic 9 man Liverpool hold out" is better copy.

Fuck em.

Kelly Kates(?) was fuming underneath, you could tell from a mile off. As an anchor you should be impartial. I very much doubt if this had happened to Luton or Burnley against their beloved Liverpool, it would have been ignored and you may have got a little comedy tidbit to wrap up the show.
The Sky Liverpool/Klopp love in carries on.

Liverpool seem to have a discipline issue tbh. Will hurt them over a season against Citeh if they don't address it.

And they had one shit offside call go against them. That's it. That's the conspiracy. The whining about this is getting ridiculous. Especially from the media who happily dismiss this stuff all the time.

Has to be said, that was a really difficult finish by Matip, top drawer to bang it in the top bin. Amazing finish

Nah fuck this. We made Alisson make two world class saves, had multiple other opportunities that we didn’t take advantage of. We missed a little finesse at the end but to say we were lucky is total shit.

We deserved the win fair and square.

The thing making me laugh is all the people saying scrap VAR when it was the lino that gave the goal offside anyway. Without VAR it still wouldnt have been given.

Honestly, he's the best Liverpool player we've had since Carragher, whose legs would have gone 10 minutes before and would have bundled it into the bottom corner with his left arse cheek. Matip is different though. Absolutely buried it with his laces. Great signing.

Just glad to have won this fixture. We were due some luck against them. It's not easy playing against 9 men but for me it did feel we running out of ideas.

Still maintain we desperately need a wide player whose pace , dribbling and trickery really worries the opposition to the extent they feel they may need to double up on him. Kulu and Richarlison did OK today imo but neither is going to give defenders sleepless nights when left one on one with them and I'm not convinced any of our wide options currently would maybe outside of Johnson but not sure.

Having a Martinelli, Diaz, Saka, Mitoma, Doku. Neto etc type would have been a massive plus in todays situation as well as teams who just defend deep.
