Agree that it wasn’t intentional but if you are a nice bloke, you realise the danger and pain caused to your opponent after the fact, hold your hands up and say sorry to Bissouma.

Instead, he complained and laughed at the referee after he gave him a YELLOW card.
Yeah your right his reaction was pretty poor. It really is a nasty foul and he would hate to be on the end of one like it. You could see the Klopp type 'everyone has got it in for us' body language come from him. It's the dark arts theatrical behaviour to try and influence the ref. Glad that var reviewed it and the ref did the right thing.

When have u ever heard of OMGOLDISNJDBWHDBRJDBRI or whatever before putting a statement out? EVER? In all the fuck ups VAR has made?
They've put out loads. They definitely put one out when Wolves were denied a penalty against ManU on opening day, and there are more that I can't remember the details of off the top of my head.

But that’s a different argument that the result, u make it out like Liverpool win if the goal was allowed. Unless u have a better crystal ball than me u have no idea. We can blame the red or VAR, it’s not like these incidents have never have happened before? We are unbeaten this season that’s all I care about Tbh, I’m such a knuckle dragger. Where is there not the same uproar with Nketias challenge on our keeper? We could have won that game yet not a whisper from anyone?
No I am not saying that at all. It is about the game and the standards. I love that we won, but I can love it and state that Liverpool were very hard done by at the same time.

Man he has a lot of family. No wonder One Hotspur members struggle to get a ticket when Benta has 19,000 of them.

Good to see him doing a bit of stewarding in the East Upper while he's recovering from injury though.

I absolutely love how this game went. We didn’t play well. Dodgy offside decision, two red cards and an own goal last minute winner. The amount of salty tears is absolutely brilliant. Especially happy for Jota who should have been sent off last year and then scored a last minute winner. They always get things in their favour and this time it went our way and it couldn’t be sweeter.

Ive got Sissoko’s handball and the Jota red card from last year, but have there been any other controversial decisions against us or just bad luck (eg. Tony’s last minute own goal, Lucas’s shit back pass etc.)

Souness should have been sent off in the 1982 Milk Cup final at Wembley for the filthy challenge on Tony Galvin

But they’ve had the run of decisions against us so often. It’s about time something went out way.

Totally.

You are supposed to get your foot under and behind the ball in those scenarios.

Any player knows that and knows that if you go over the ball with force you are going to roll over it and risk a leg break

+ Bissouma's leg was planted

Liverpool were not hard done by. Full stop.

They had one bad call go against them.

That happens every week, in nearly every match.

They got themselves down to nine players on their own - and that is why they were in the situation they were in when an OG against tired defenders won the game.

True, but it SHOULDN'T happen... I mean it's glaring and obvious. We could allllll see it wasn't offside without any lines and just a freeze frame. If this was the other way round we would be FUMING. Yeah, we deserve some luck after all the years vs Liverpool, but the standards of refereeing and VAR in particular have been shocking!!!!
Fuck them!!

I disagree. It was an accident. His foot makes contact with top half of the ball, the ball rolls and brings his foot into contact with Bissouma’s leg. Because of his momentum it could have seriously injured Bissouma but he wasn’t reckless, he had no intent or used excessive force. It was an accident and in football as in life they happen. It’s like if Your car sloops on ice and crashes into another car - it’s not a punishable offense just an accident. I know many of you agree but if it had been the other way around you would be making this same argument.
if you’re driving your car recklessly on the ice then you deserve to be punished if you crash 🤷‍♂️

Never in million years. They'll be going on about this still in 24 years time.
It was a great phone in call, Liverpool always provide great football phone ins, in fact it was one of the best since I heard one of their fans a few years back calling in to say a special trophy should be invented/given to Liverpool for trying so hard in the league and coming second. They really are special.
