It's just not what the England team should be about.
I cannot understand how Southgate can justify playing the likes of Phillips, Maguire and Henderson over these past two games.

I just want the England manager to show some balls and play for the attacking talent that we have, not just play safe and pick favourites.

Definitely not going to watch the game tonight. Southgate is just a terrible, terribly defensive manager. We will never play good or exciting football under him.

I'm gonna watch it because I've got nothing else to do and because I want to bitch about Southgate in here.

God I wish for a manager with the approach of Ange...but obviously not Ange himself.
We've got such good attacking options but are lumbered with a manager that's scared of giving anyone the freedom to express themselves.

Hopefully Southgate is gone after the Euros and they can get a manager who isn't wasting this generation of talent. I'm tempted not to watch, I've had enough of shit negative football over the last 4 years.

Southgate hasn't recently played very exciting football but i really hope we piss all over the Scots.

We can play good football as well and have done but he is sometimes a bit overly cautious when we have so much attacking talent available.

On paper his record is decent and often international football isn’t super fluid anyway, but he has the horn for some very average players and that might have cost us and still might
