Something really unlikeable about him but can't quite put my finger on it. He's not quite as bad as the Liverpool kid (Harvey Elliot) but they give off the same nasty arrogance vibes.
Someone mentioned he looks like Sophie Corcoran and that you can't unsee it once you have... It's true..

Yeah they have, although im not sure villa are great. Thyeve had a lot of injuries to their CBs and look awful playing with a high line and no press. If they play like that against us i expect to score a hat full particularly if out from 3 is solomun son johnson
I've said this in a couple of other threads but Villa are the sort of side who will look great against teams they're expected to beat but be woefully outplayed by those teams that can get at them.

Yeah probably, their fast attack can hurt teams and they'll be fine once they have their players fit but i would expect our forwards to have a lot of chances against that current back line in that system

Haven't seen any Villa so far this season, but isn't Emery some what of an expert of getting good results in tough games, given his cup record including knocking out wins against Juventus and Bayern with Villareal in CL?

Obviously bad results against Liverpool and Newcastle but don't know if he is setting up his teams differently in the PL or if it's just been really bad days at the office.

Yeah he is , I think too many are getting too excited about a season that's only 4 games in. Lots of teams are going to change and the rollercoaster is only just starting.

They also have a couple of long term injuries to Buendia and Mings which hasn't helped.

I thought they were the best fans in the world ™️

They've lowered the required loyalty points twice and now down to a mere 1 point for their first European away game in 10 years, first champions league in 20 years and its against European giants.

You can harp on about late notice/time off work/cost of living crisis but spurs would sell this out immediately as would loads of other clubs.

I guess the other view is that more fans can access the game!

Or you could point to the likelier scenario that not many people can afford that trip, and the massive disparity between your average London salary and that in the North East.

If this was all members with just one point I'd be with you, but season ticket holders pay enough as it is and a North East based season ticket holder might well consider a trip to Milan to be too expensive. Which they're well within their rights to think.

If they struggle to sell out with all members, not just season ticket holders, then I'll join the laugh.

They didn't sell out the stadium for years. They just don't have the fan base or support that they claim.

Ok, maybe it's just me who expected the best fans in the world to sell 3900 tickets. I reckon some championship clubs would sell out.

They've sold out now but I expected it to be instant as it would with the majority of clubs

This sounds a little petty tbh.

Maybe the fans are still in daze and unsure how to buy CL tickets?

Why do people care?

It’s clearly related to the cost of living crisis, and the average wage in the north east. People can probably barely afford their season tickets let alone time off and midweek trips to frigging Milan.

Are there even direct flights to Milan from there?
