Just wrote it, we have sung this song, just with different lyrics.

Manor was great on Saturday as well 😀. His dad will be happy 😊
Hahaha he is very happy. He has an important game in Romania on Saturday, let's hope he comes back healthy. He and all our players who went to the international games

Do we have a song for my favorite football player?
If there is a song, I would love for someone to write the words for me.
And if he really doesn't have a song, I would recommend a song where the fans sing about the collection of legs that Romero has in his closet...love cuti!

It's the Dembele song but now we also use it for Ange so maybe needs a new one

I have been harsh on Romero for the past couple of years for his overly aggressive play and rash decisions, but am absolutely loving what I have seen this year. He is still aggressive (was caught a little high for 2nd goal on Saturday) but that is going to happen. The big thing is he is defending while staying on his feet. We need him on the field, not sitting for yellow card suspensions and so far he is showing that he is up to the new role.

Feels like we're seeing the best version of Romero this season. I have no doubt that playing more offensively as a team, and with VDV next to him, is making a huge difference. He's a front foot defender and works best in a front foot team.

Didn’t watch but apparently had an absolute blinder tonight against Ecuador. Highlights below, the tackle in the 59th min 👌🏻

The bit where he tackles Valencia and then gets right in his face to explain that no, he's not going past!

out of all of that, I was just really enjoying his lovely forward passes straight through the middle to start an attack.

He drove me mad last season, I thought he was over rated by many of our fans. He looked disinterested, lethargic in a Spurs jersey. Mind you the performance of his colleagues wasn't much better.

But fuck me I love him. The leadership role has really been the making of him it seems. And playing beside a competent CB partner who actually wants the ball too in VDV can only help. Fantastic footballer.

I do wonder if the World Cup mid season had anything to do with that? We know how much Argentines love playing for their country so that was perhaps in the back of his mind somewhat..

Makes me think of Verts who was absolutely incredible in his first season with us and fell off massively in the second season, only to resurge again in his third season.

My guess it was because the team as a whole was lethargic and disinterested last year. Felt like they didn't believe in either themselves or Conte.
