I don't think this is a priority for Kane tbh. If he truly loved the club he would have never done what he did in 2021. Would Sonny have done such a thing? Not a chance.Given he’s got this chance to go to Bayern or he does that it will be pretty shitty but also given how Levy has let Kane down and how apparently he blocked the move to City 2 summers ago going back on a gentleman’s agreement then it would kind of be Karma.
It would certainly tarnish Kane’s status as a true club legend though although it would likely be City if not Utd neither who are direct London rivals so not cool at all but all things considered understandable from his side so he’s got control over his move.
The thought of it does make me a bit queasy though which brings me back to the wanting to get the £100mil now from Bayern if Kane is highly likely to just run his contract down.
So basically exactly the he same feelings and situation as it was at the start of this bloody saga.
I'm not saying he is completely apathetic, but I think being part of a team success on the pitch is a much bigger priority. Perhaps only when he achieves that and retires will he look back on a move with regret as it's not all it's cracked up to be.
