If he stays without signing some sort of extension, then he is in essence intentionally fucking the club over.
No way he’s fucking the club over, definitely it’ll be crap if he leaves for free when we could have got over £100m, but think you’re forgetting he’s a club graduate who didn’t cost us anything. This scenario is nothing like the PSG/Mbappe situation.

Another scenario, 1 year extension with release clause next summer if we are still trophyless

Is that sort of clause allowed (i.e. for non-events)? If he wanted to leave, he could influence match decisions to make sure that happened...

Yeah, I can see all of that and the financial logic especially given what I do for a living……however, to have had him play and a train a full pre-season and then sell such a consequential player a couple of days before the season starts is in my opinion inexcusable, if not a little predictable
Unless it turns out it's been pretty much sorted for over a week as has been implied but Kane hasn't made the decision.

This time last year Kane had already packed up his house and was on the brink of joining City. Obviously the deal fell through but he still lost his house and had to find another property. It’s safe to say he hasn’t done the same this year.
Lol, what a twat!
Hopefully he gave Charlie a good shoeing for that fuck up. 🤣

Off-topic but this is the best thread to ask in. Anyone notice any server issues? Today's been our busiest day of the window so far and I was expecting a few issues but things seem to have been fine on my end.
Nope. Seamless here and I've been on all day.

Oh yes, I've been on all day...

Anyone who thinks that the likes of Pep, Ten Hag, Klopp and Poch aren't licking their lips at the thought of this deal falling through are quite naive in my opinion.

Think we've lost golden opportunity to get him out of the league, and get £100m for our troubles.
I don't get a cut so couldn't give a flying about the money.
As for the other,
a year in football is a long time anything could happen he may leave and break records or he may get injured and end up with fuck all no club no contract no help no shits given.
I'm just glad it looks like we have him for another year and find it baffling that any spurs fans think differently 🤔

Was it not the year before?

I haven't heard anyone say that they think that.

Anyone else?

Nope?

You don't need to be ITK to know why. I love Spurs to the core but if I were Kane I wouldn't be signing a deal until I was sure I knew the direction the club were going and that Ange was the real deal. Absolutely no chance whatsoever. Especially when I knew I had the choice of pretty much every team in the world in a years time.
Would it really hurt Harry to sign something with a, say, £30M release clause. What woukd he lose?

Don't see how it's any different from the relegation release clauses included in some players' contracts.

And ironically has been my least busy day at work because I've been on here all day.

The thread seems to have been stuck in a repeating Dantean loop for a month, but I'm not sure it's the server causing it ...

No problems here. Thank you Rob.
